The Fiat Grande Punto is available in two body styles: three-door hatchback and five-door hatchback. The model was first introduced to the market in 2005 and is based on the GM Fiat Small platform. It offers a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, the most powerful of which is the 1.9 Multijet with 96 kW, which is also the fastest model in the range with a top speed of 200 km/h. The most economical engine, the 1.3 Multijet 16V, has a fuel consumption of 4.4 l/100 km and emissions of 115 g/km. In terms of safety, EURONCAP gave the model a rating of 5 out of 5. The luggage compartment of the three-door hatchback is around 275 litres, as is the case with the five-door hatchback.
