The Opel Astra has been manufactured since 2009 in three versions: three-door hatchback, five-door hatchback and estate. It is based on the Delta II platform and offers both petrol and diesel engines. The most powerful engine is the 2.0 Turbo OPC with 206 kW, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6.0 seconds. The most economical engine is the 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX with a fuel consumption of 3.9 l/100 km and emissions of 104 g/km. The five-door hatchback has a luggage capacity of 370 l, the three-door 380 l and the estate 500 l. In 2009, the Opel Astra passed the EURONCAP safety tests with a rating of 5 out of 5.
