The Opel Meriva has been available as a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) since 2006. The car was developed on the Gamma platform and offers a wide range of petrol and diesel engines. The most powerful engine is the 1.6 Turbo OPC with 132 kW, providing a maximum speed of 222 km/h and the best acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 8.2 seconds. The most economical version, the 1.3 CDTI, has a combined consumption of 5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 135 g/km. The boot has a capacity of 360 litres. EURONCAP safety tests rated the Opel Meriva 4 out of 5 points.
