The Peugeot 308 has been manufactured in France and the People's Republic of China since 2007. It offers a wide range of body styles, such as a three-door hatchback, five-door hatchback, estate and cabriolet. It is based on the PSA PF2 platform and offers petrol and diesel engines. The most powerful model is the 1.6 THP with 147 kW of maximum power, the fastest model reaches a speed of 237 km/h and the most economical version, the 1.6 HDI, has a consumption of 4.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 115 g/km. The luggage compartment of the five-door hatchback version is 442 l, of the three-door version 442 l, of the estate 674 l and of the cabriolet 266-465 l. In 2009, the Peugeot 308 underwent the EURONCAP safety test and received a rating of 5 out of 5.
