The new Suzuki Swift is available in two body styles - three-door hatchback and five-door hatchback. It was first produced in 2007 and since then has been manufactured in countries such as Hungary, China, India and Japan. It offers a wide range of engines, from petrol to diesel. The most powerful version, the 1.6 VVT Sport, has 92 kW and reaches a top speed of 200 km/h with the best acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The most economical model, the 1.25 DDiS, has a combined fuel consumption of 4.5 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of 119 g/km. Both hatchback versions have a cargo capacity of 201 l. EURONCAP safety tests resulted in a rating of 4 out of 5 for this vehicle.
